I have nerd friends all over the south bay and I'm out that way every couple years. Next time I come out I'll ping you Hoping to do a weekend in Monterey probably next summer but we'll still end up day tripping back to San Jose.

No. It's on the bucket list, but I wasn't able to make the trip when my son's scout troop went. Wifey wants to do the Monterey Bay Aquarium and visit Carmel, so we're researching and planning that now.

I highly recommend the aquarium and Carmel. Big Sur, too.

I've only been to Yosemite once and would love to go back.
