What's with your user name? And what about that avatar?

This is a neat thread!
There was a Disney version of Robin Hood where all the characters were animals. I loved that cartoon as a kid! (Still love it actually)
Maid Marion has a lady in waiting, a brave little white hen, named Lady Cluck. She's loyal and funny, and mighty in her own way.
My bravest little white leghorn came to earn that name, we call her Lady for short.

My avatar is her playing in the sandbox with my son.

It's close! The secret to the best chislic is making sure it's not overdone and then the seasoning put on it right as the meat comes out of the fryer. I like VISIBLE sprinkling of coarse salt on mine. I skip all of the other junk.

Um, not quite twins. That blonde hair you were talking about in an earlier post used to be red...yep, I was a redhead. Now it's silver. And I earned every single silver hair up there too!

Oh OK........I guess we can't be twins then....LOL

Did you miss the long post I wrote back to you concerning that statue?????

Thanks, hennible, for starting this thread - great idea!

Zarafa was the first giraffe to come from Africa to Europe in the early 1900s. There is a book written about her, simply called "Zarafa." I like giraffes because of their calmness, beauty, nobility, and non-violent ways. Besides, they can see a lot from their standpoint. The number, 121, is simply the house number when we lived in the city. I've been using it about a decade.

The picture is of my hens when they were a couple of months old. I live on a "non-working" farm that has a welding business instead, and I am one of five tenants. On a whim I asked if I could have chickens. I was surprised when the property manager said I could. That started in April 2014, and my four girls are now all grown up. The name on the coop is "Harriet's Hen House," and the name of my part of the "farm" is the Triple H Farm. Havin' fun.

Turtles are my favorite animals......they don't get anywhere unless they stick their necks out.

Minnehaha - I did read the post about the David statue. When that fuss came around I just rolled my eyes. All those little old ladies protesting......all I could think of during that whole episode was that song by Ray Stevens about the half-crazed, Mississippi squirrel!
