What are the odds? Her name does make sense now.

I just love this pic of a juvinal Mottled Houdan. He was always climbing me. He would jump on my lap and keep climbing up until I would have to get him off my head.

My name is a combo of out street name Puddin Ridge and my kids favorite part of a (clean) chicken: the butt fluff.

There's nothing magical about the name for me. We live in the mountains of western North Carolina. It's great to live where there are truly four climate seasons each year! We love our hens. Hence, WNCcluck.

The avatar is our two Pembroke Welsh Corgis playing in the snow we all love so much. Our black lab would have been in the pic, too ... If she hadn't been running all over in the snow.
