It could be something with your email or the server, but I know mine was working yesterday with no issues
I have a lot of people not answer me, usually what happens is that they already sold the item, but didn’t take the ad down for some reason or another. I like to change mine to pending if someone’s scheduled to come get something, but I’ve forgotten once or twice to take an ad down
One of my favorites that I didn’t respond to was for a goat that I had listed for quite some time, she was fairly cheap, but to a pet home only- no breeders or meat. I went out of town right after I sold her, and I forgot I even had a Craigslist ad up
Someone messaged me the next week saying that they “might possibly” be willing to do me a favor and take her for me, they weren’t sure they really wanted another goat, but they would possibly consider taking her for me if I’d give her to them for free
My other favorite was from a local classifieds site, I had a goat pending pickup so I listed her as sale pending (she was one of several listed in the ad). I didn’t have time to completely take her off the ad that night, so I had someone start texting me at 2:00am asking about her, and when I told them she was sold they started arguing back that I still had her
