she may well have had Marek's - some birds pull through, especially with good care like yours got. Unfortunately they are then carriers, so watch out for young birds (under 12 weeks) with Marek's symptoms. Some serotypes of salmonella do things like that too, and again survivors are carriers. So glad she made it though.
