Hello everyone,
This is Holly. She's still drinking well but not eating. Any idea as to what could be wrong with her? I was thinking worms and have therefore wormed her today. There is also traces of blood in most of her droppings.
Thank you

Thanks for your reply. She's around 4/5years old.All of my other hens look completely fine and are laying well however I have lost a few with similar symptoms over Winter. Where can I get Corid?

Four or five year old birds shouldnt have a problem with cocci because they shouldve built resistance to it over time. I suspect it could possibly be worms. What wormer did you use before?
Corid can be purchased in the cattle section at a feed store.

I'm currently using zerofen 2.5% as it's worked the best so far of all the ones i've tried. I'm hoping if it's worms I will start to see an improvement over the next couple of days as I only wormed her again today!

Capillary worms can cause blood in feces. Zerofen is fenbendazole and that will take care of capillary worms and other worms as well. Good luck.
