This baby chick hatched yesterday and was totally fine yesterday and this morning until I came back out to check on it a little bit ago and it looked like it was dead laying underneath the mom so I picked it up and this is how it has looks.. it almost looks like blood underneath the beak I never noticed that before... its keeping its mouth open and sometimes shaking its head.. sometimes with its tongue out some of the time acting like it's trying to swallow? I have given it nutri-drench.. I don't know what else to do.. any clue as to what is going on with it and advice what I should do would be greatly appreciated thanks

There’s no picture

I tried to post a video but for some reason it didn't go through first time so this times I just posted a pic. I just rewatched a video I took of the mother hen and the chick and I could see it's beak looked normal and it was acting totally fine but I did notice in the video that the mother hen kept pecking at it.. it didn't seem aggressive at the time so it seemed no cause for concern but now I am thinking that's why the baby chick is like this.. I did notice what looked like a slit on the inside of the chicks leg where it looks like it's been slashed open too

If there are other chicks still alive it could be it’s color or she can sense that something was wrong with it, hens will kill their chicks if she detects they have a weak immune system

For video, upload to youtube and provide a link.

The chick has an injury to the leg too?

Could she have gotten hung up in fencing?

Work on getting the chick hydrated, do give her 2 drops of Poultry Nutri-Drench twice a day orally. In between that, give her drops of water or see if she's able to drink on her own.
Once she's hydrated and more alert, see if she can manage eating some wet mushy chick starter.

Do check this chick over for injuries/bleeding and bruising.

Is the hen and chicks with the flock or in a separated area? If separated, how much space do they have?
