Hello, I have a mallard pair, and my hen is acting sluggish and weak, and she disappears during the day not to be found til evening, I suspect she is nesting, but she is acting sick. She will lay in one spot and just hisses when I come near. I know the eggs arent near but she isnt running from me anymore and she just let me grab her. I placed her in the pool and she remained there for a long tome and is just being sluggish. Any advice?
