What's Wrong with my mandarin duckling It died :'(

I have posted about selling them, but if there is hope for the little one I will ocnsider keeping them, I just don't want to let them go. Here are some pictures, the first two are of the other healthy mandarin for comparison. The sick one is seperated know. It kicks its legs back and fans its wings out to help push it. It doesnt get excited anymore when you near it , it just sits there and hisses. It doesnt stand up ....ever. I put it in some water and it floated and kicked its legs and swam underwater like any other duck...its just wont stand up...is there any hope...any suggestions...please help me save it..

It always was smaller than the other and the bigger one would step on it sometimes...before I seperated them...could that have broken its back or something...please help

They have been eating Dumor duck starter/grower and have been out in the sun (provided shade) every day.

I posted this in the duck section, but I was told to post it here because I would get more responses....

There is a sore on the bottom of one foot...i just thought it was a cut so I put some blue spray and ointment on it....after that it was just limping a bit, but still walking fine. Then it just started laying and dragging itself around...i dont know why its not using its other foot now...it acts like that one is messed up too. The foot with the blister on the bottom has its middle toe swollen and all three toes are turning inward...the other foots wrong...i guess I could have a vet check it out...or I have a "back to the wild" facility around here....the lady fixes ducks, eagles, hawks and everything...maybe I could take it to her?

Can you get a close up of his feet? You said they were kind of turning or twisting?

Lack of niacin can cause leg and foot issues in ducklings.

You could get some brewer's yeast (niacin) and sprinkle it on his food. You can get it at health food stores.

Okay I'll try that...i really hope he can recover...I've wanted to keep mandarins for a long time...and I will feel really bad if I have to sell my healthy one...

Okay I crushed some niacin tablets and dissolved them in water...i used an eye dropper and put a few drops down its throat...i also sprinkled some on its food and put some in its water....and i took a few of the small ground up pieces and put them in its mouth..i hope it will work!
