"What's wrong with this egg" Redux - should I eat it?

Here's the weirdest eggs I've ever seen. Found it in an egg box yesterday.

It's a deformed egg. I don't know if I would eat that one.. One of my hens lay bumpy eggs (we eat them) but never like that. That's normal to see eggs like that once in a while

I'm sure the chickens would LOVE to eat it all scrambled up with bacon

I'm going to try to drain the egg and keep the shell intact. Anyone know how to do that?

Poke small hole, use something small to scramble egg then let it drip out or..you can use a hypodermic needle and suck it out. Do you have one of those needles for injecting marinade? It takes a bit to do it.

I had a white leghorn (3yr old) lay two like that. It was like a loose paper wrapping around a harder shell. It was larger than her normal size egg she usually lays. Sadly she died after laying the second egg just like it. No, I did not check into as why.
