What's wrong with this egg?

This is our second egg we have found this week that has these hard knobbies. What's wrong with it?

It's just calcium deposits.

When a hen "detects" a weak spot or even a hole in the egg, she compensates by putting on extra calcium on that area. It just means her shell gland is working properly. Now, if you find the egg without a cuticle, or some people call it "the bloom", it can be difficult for her to lay the egg.
