I have chicks that started to get pasty buuts and started losing thier feeathers around their neck. does anyone know whats wrong with them

for pasty butt you can give a powdered probotic. mine had pasty butt when they were little and I gave them probios powered probotic it cured them in a matter of a few days. the probiotic replaces bad bacteria in the gut with the good bacteria. you place it in the drinking water. probios worked great for me. lots of people give plain yougart for the bacteria also but the powered probiotic has more good bacteria in it. give it a try use a powered probotic for chickens or animals not the human probotic. a product like probios or similar is really good. it also makes them less susceptible to gut problems because the good bacteria is colonizing in the gut fighting off the bad.in a few days it should clear the poop butt right up. now as for the neck feathers ; not sure about that. are they plucking at each other? have you noticed? maybe someone else can help with that because I couldn't begin to guess about that. but the poppy butt; I've had it and cured it up with probios. similar product will work too! best of luck. hope this was helpful to you!
