Have one chick about 11 weeks that don't eat or drink much, feels very fragile, and just stands around, is there something wrong or just at the bottom of the pecking order.. She seems sickley to me

At that age, I would suspect coccidiosis, and buy some Corid (amprollium,) and treat the water for 5 days. Symptoms of coccidiosis are lethargy, hunched or puffed up posture, diarrhea or blood in stools, and refusal to eat. Treat all chicks at the same time. Dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid Corid, or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5 days.

Where can I get that? Tractor supply or rural king? And what does it look like?

Most feed stores carry it in the cattle section. It has other brand names such as Ampromed or Amprol, as well as Corid.

Update, she ended up dying before I made it home, I have the corrid and put it in all the waterers, 2 teaspoons per gallon of water. Hopefully she hasn't spread it, or the corrid controls it. Any more advise?

I'm sorry for your loss. She may have had some problem with her immunity, but keep the droppings stirred in your bedding, and try to keep it as clean and dry as possible. Make sure they take the Corid. Cocci is in the dirt and they need to get exposed to it to develop immunity, so hopefully they will start to build up resistance to it, and you will not lose any more.

I change the house bedding per week and take and turn all straw frequently.. The rest seem healthy and well. Thanks for the help!

I'm a newbie too. I've only had my chickens for 3 months. They are young and for the first time I found them not inside but one away from the hen house and one looking for the other. The little one didn't seem happy. I shoved them in the house and I hope they are ok tomorrow. I may have a problem in he morning.

I have a few older ones that have been fine, started with 10 little ones this time, I have lost 3 to Hawks because they found a hole in the fence, and one to cold-I think- and this one to its condition. I'm new too. I love the hobby, at my house they are our babies. Hopefully they are ok.
