What's yalls favorite treats to give your chickens

I'm gonna be doing a bit of shopping filling up my freezers this week. Wonder if there's something I should stick up on for my up coming flock

Keep treats very limited. Too many treats and you will take away from their complete diet and end up with problems.
That being said...my favorite is watermelon and only once in a while.

Cabbage, broccoli slaw, kale, spinach, zucchini, greens of any kind! Mine get greens 2 times a day. Wonderful stuff for the liver, helps combat fatty liver disease.

Mine don't get treats often, I learned that lesson the hard way. Mine love watermelon & cantaloupe, I just leave a little extra on the rind for them. They also love tomatoes, peas, squash, bananas, & strawberries. It's been pretty hot for a few days in a row now, so I'll probably cut up some of a watermelon for the human kids today and let the chickens have the rest.

Thats kinda how it is with mine. They get leftover fruit or veggie treats from the kitchen every now and then..

I too, limit food scraps, but I give them fresh frozen veggies and fresh fruit on hot summer days to keep them cool. In the winter, I will hang whole cabbages to keep them busy. We don’t free range often, so my son will spend hours looking for insects and feeding them to our flock. During molting season I do provide occasion cans of cat food and plain Greek yogurt for a boost in protein.

Not treats, really... but mine sure think they are: The guts and seeds of cantaloupe, spaghetti squash and pumpkin. And the white part of watermelon gets them excited, too.

I agree with previous posts, too many treats isn't good but mine love a occasional grape or two. (Cut into fourths, of course.)
