Whats YOUR Dog's Name?

My beautiful German shepherd - Belgian Malinois mix.

His name is Rinty (RinTinTin). He is 3 years old, and is my chicken protection program. I got him off of cragslist, when he was 6 months old. A very nice lady rescued him from his previous abusive owners who were going to dump in a VERY bad neighborhood.

My beautiful German shepherd - Belgian Malinois mix. He's handsome! Angel was adopted from a shelter in baton rouge la. She was found on the streets and nearly starved to death in the shelter from depression. His name is Rinty (RinTinTin). He is 3 years old, and is my chicken protection program. Gus-Gus Triskotie- yokie/Chihuahua mix
Duke- husky

Cesar-name after Cesar Millan

Chimera-named because i thought Bull Terriers were sort of like a Chimera themselves, part dog, part pig, part human!

Gizmo, who is 3/4 toy poodle, and 1/4 yorkie

And Chase who is a mixed up guy if ever there was one. His mom looked like a husky shepherd mix, and they said the dad was a pitbull.

They are both good dogs. If only we can convince chase to quit chasing the chickens...Lol.

He doesn't chase the rooster, because the rooster doesn't run. I actually wish the rooster would give Chase one nice well landed flying rooster kick just once, and he would never want to chase the chickens again. If the chickens stop running he doesn't do anything to them...so that is good, and I guess more than half the battle...The chickens are safe, but they will definitely get their exercise.

I have started taking him out on the leash when the chickens are roaming, to save us all some headache.

Sadie - Border collie, bought as a pup from a family near Hutchinson, KS that owns/operates a big feedlot and uses their BC's to work the cattle.

Sampson - Border collie, given to me by neighbors in OKC, they raise BC's

Zippy - itty bitty chihuahua that was dumped at the vet clinic I worked at in OKC

Lily - Anatolian LGD. Our working dog. Found her on Craigslist, her previous owner had to sell his entire sheep herd because they tested positive for ???? (can't remember). He wasn't going to get more sheep. Anyway, Lily needed a new home with a "herd".
