My 3 Vizsla, Hayleigh, Morgan and Brisco. Only Brisco is still with us, my two girls both died, Morgan with liver cancer and Hayleigh just from old age at 16. We had/have so many nicknames for them as well: Brisco is Roo-roo, Rootie Tootie Fresh and Fruity, Beesco, the beast...

And Home Slice
Fabulous pups! We had a pitt that we fostered, fell in love with and adopted some years ago ( we named him Apache). We had him 5 years when he was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of bone cancer. It broke my husband's heart (and mine) when we had to have him put down after the cancer didn't respond to treatment. He has a lovely resting place under our big oak tree now. Dogs are family and we have a particular fondness for pitts as a breed! Yours are absolutely beautiful! Home Slice's eyes remind me of Apache.

This is our shelter rescue, Isabella Love. She will be two in June. Isn't she gorgeous?!? (Says the incredibly biased Mommy!) She was a mess when we adopted her. The mother was aggressive towards her pups and had really work Bella over. She had already killed two of Bella's litter mates. We adopted her because we were told she was a pitt mix (and as per my previous post, we LOVE pits) but as you can see, there may be some red doberman and lab in her blood line, but we doubt there is pitt at all! We won the puppy lottery when we adopted Izzy! She is our Sunshine!
