Honestly, I just want to retire. But I love my job - most of the time. I'm a teacher at a continuation high school. I'm also the activities director, which is a kick.

When I was little I wanted to be an elevator operator. Nobody told me that job hasn't existed for a few decades except in fancy, schmancy hotels.

I thought it was being a teacher, which I was until I left the profession this summer, but now I'm not sure. I just know that I had to get out ASAP. Education is seeing a massive exodus, and it's going to get far worse.

I think I'd like to work for the government in some capacity, as a trainer or instructional designer, but I mainly just want to work remotely. I'm super tech savvy and was damn good at teaching over zoom and working from home, so I'd like to find a way to do that. I just need to find a way to market myself.
