Hmm. Probably my Savage 243. I can split bullet holes from 100yds. Haven't shot anything with it yet though. My shotgun is just a regular 20g, but she's my sidekick when I go out of town, lol. Have shot a few things with it, but nothing that I brought home (blasted some squirrels out of trees, but didn't kill them and couldn't find them).
 
Rifle, I have to go with my Browning .30-06 with boss muzzle break, and Leupold scope. CC has to be my PINK, yes PINK, .38 special. But, for home protection, there is nothing like the sound of a pump-action Mossberg 12 gauge to make an intruder s*** his pants!! hee hee hee

Yeah the 1100 is a great shot gun also I have one loaded for bear/00Buck-3in. mag. shells right now in the corner of the garage so I can reach out and touch someone/thing in a hurry but still I prefer the pumps or single shots as they give all the blast right out the end of the barrel along with the ordinance, a real @$$-kicker right in the seat of the pants.
