Probably, but by pen do you mean the coop or the run (or combo of both)?

I try to do 4 square feet per large fowl chicken indoors, so you'd need at least a 4 x 5 coop. For outside, many say 10 square feet per bird.

A 12' x 12' enclosure is a total of 144 square feet. That's almost 30 square feet per bird, twice what is usually suggested as the rule of thumb here (4 square feet indoors, plus 10 square feet outdoors).

I wish I was able to give my chickens that much space!
 
Thanks for the replies. I was thinking it would probably be big enough I was just wanting to get a few opinions first.
