My two young Silkie cockerels. On the left is Turk (because my father threatened to take him out when he goes turkey hunting this spring; this roo' makes the weirdest noises!). On the right is Dash (he runs around like a maniac!). They look different because Turk is 3 weeks older.
In the background is Zuuhl. When I brought her home, she was initially in the brooder with the Silkies. That evening, my dad called me into the spare bedroom because he didn't see her in the box. She had climbed out of the brooder, and was hunched like a gargoyle on a shelf behind it! I named her after the gargoyle demon that posesses Sigourney Weaver's character in Ghostbusters!
