I've started a mealworm farm & bought a bag of wheat bran. I only used a small portion of it. Can I feed the rest to my chickens? Is there any nutritional value to it? Hate to just throw so much of it away. Warm weather coming & I'm afraid bugs will get into it.

You can, but it is very high in phosphorus, so they will need extra calcium to balance the increased phosphorus in the diet. Mixed 50:50 with lucerne (alfalfa) would be ideal :) I use it for my horses and find that in a rodent proof bin (like a 70L plastic rubbish bin) it lasts for quite a long time. My hens are not keen on it though.
