Wheaten Ameraucana rooster (hatch date June '10)

The eggs he hatched from came from backyardchicken's 'peachick' of Signature Peafowl.

The hens from these eggs have just started laying beautiful blue eggs.

Seriously! They were hatched in June and are laying. I have a wheaten pullet from peachick hatched 4/24/10 and she still isn't laying...excuse me while I go scream now!

Ooh. He is gorgeous! Too bad my mom says no to roosters,if she didn't I'd have him in a heartbeat to put with my other ameracaunas. Goodluck rehoming him!!!

This guy left for his new home about a hour ago.

But yes, they're laying. All of my chickens are layng now. One started at 22 weeks. (jersey giant) and then Plymouth rocks witha May '10 hatch date and a July '10 silkie started earlier this month. If it makes you feel any better, the Ameraucanas were the last ones. (June '10 hatch). I'm in Georgia. Maybe that makes a difference?
