wheaten marans gone wild

He's definitely a marans and my best guess is wheaten. I saw a bird almost identical on here some where so he's not that unique.

Any guesses?

Well I would have to guess that he came from a blue wheaten mating and came out a splash wheaten in color.

I was going to say he looks like a splash wheaten, but I really have no experience with the color or breed.
