Does anyone have any heavy breed chickens that are wheaton reds with clean yellow legs? My grandfather had some of these when I was growing up and I have not seen any since then. I would love to have some of these for nostalgic reasons.

Thanks!

There are a lot of em, but some of the ones i think of at first are Welsummers, though a lot of them come white/light yellow.. There are also Partridge rocks but they aren't exactly wheaten.. Also brown leghorns.. but not heavy breeds.

The roosters looked very similar to partridge rocks (Black Breast), but the hens were lighter than RIR and New Hampshires. They looked very close to wheaton marans, but had clean yellow legs.

That could have been a regional breed that died out. They happened a lot. I'd suggest either RIR or NHR from show/heritage lines and breed toward what he's looking for.

Does anyone out there have any RIR or NH that fit this description?

I doubt it. You'd need to loose a few genes from those to get to the colour you describe.

With the birds you're looking for being wheaten I wonder whether you might be looking for one of the big game types or a breed developed from them. Have you tried looking at the various breeds on Feathersite?
