right here.
I have one hen who is wheezing. I have isolated her from the rest of the flock.

I don't see anything on her nostrils. We had one do the same thing about three months ago. I thought it was possibly gape worm, but we cut the throat open and there were no signs of that either.

Any clues on what it could be?

Wheezing can be a sign of respiratory disease. Do you see any swelling around the eyes. Look inside her throat for anything that could be blocking her airway such as white or yellow patches. Gapeworm is very rare, and is treated with Fenbendazole 1 ml orally for 3-4 days in a row. Here is some reading on diseases--look at MG, ILT, and coryza: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ps044

I didn't see any discharge or swelling at all. I will try and take a peek down her throat tonight when I get home. I picked her up last night and I didn't smell any foul odors or anything either. She did feel like she may not be eating. (Empty crop) But other then the wheezing she shows no outward signs of illness.

I came home last night and the hen was dead. My husband had all ready disposed of the body.
Hopefully it won't happen to another bird.
