Wow, I was afraid of that. I couldn't kill "Bumkin" without exausting every and all other options.
Why do they call it cull? That seems really dumb to me. As if giving it another name makes it easier.

I suspect (if you just threw out the hotdog buns whole) that she has a big ole lump of that caught in her throat... if she is able to get water down I suspect it will in time dissolve down into the crop. (tip: do not give out large pices of bread like this! Dhickens cant chew so they will simply swallow what they have in their beak) You should supply a separate bowl of grit and another (if they are laying age) with oyster shell .
They really do not need bread and while you can give treats I would do this only in the afternoon after they have had their main meal in the morning of their age appropriate chicken feed. They aren't dumb and like children will hold out for the treats ... chickens are dependent upon their nutritionally balanced feed to keep healthy so watch the treats!
