Our brown leghorn about 3 months old and she is outside kinda like wheezing with her mouth staying open and when she runs alittle it sounds like she is sneezing, Would anyone know what is wrong with her, and what we can do to help her and to cool off the others? Thanks alot

The weezing is strange and I would maby suspect a little dehydration going on. The mouth staying open is normal when a bird is too hot. That's how they cool themselves. It's almost like they're panting for air.

My birds are a panting away with this heat !!!!!!!!!!

Keep water stations all over the coop or run. If they have shade, make sure you have cool water next to them. I fill zip-lock bags with water about half full then freeze them. In the morning, I re-fill the water cans and buckets and put one of the frozen bags in the water.
I also dump the warm water out several times a day to give them cool water. They wont drink the water if it's warm or hot....enabeling them to become dehydrated.
It's up to us to keep them as cool as possible. I also take the hose and spray down the ground a couple of times a day. This cools the ground and they will find a cool muddy spot and lay in it. It's ok to squirt them alittle too if you want. I do and they dont seem to mind.
Have fun.

if you can plug in a fan that will help them immensely I also use a shallow large plant dish filled with cool water for their feet, they like to stand in it to cool off, I have to change it 3-4 times a day because they get it poopy!
