So this morning I go out to the coop to let my babies out, the first one out is always my main guy Roo-Roo. I always stay in the run area till a couple come out just to say good morning to them. As Roo-Roo comes out of the coop, I notice he is wheezing pretty bad. I can hear it, it's obvious. I also do notice that he is eating and drinking, o ya and doing his morning "wake up" call!! :) You can tell he is stuffy. All my hens and roos have been vaccinated for the flu. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what I can do for him?

Ok....really need some input here. My 6month old rooster now can't crow because of his congestion. He is wheezing really bad and isn't himself!! He is still moving around with the others, but still...not himself!! Please, I love him and want to help! Any medications I can get for it? What's going on? Bedding is changed and no mold. Feed is good. I just don't know what to do....

I was going to have some fun with your poetic topic but when I opened the thread I saw that It hadn't been answered. I haven't had wheezing as an Issue and am watching the thread because I'm sure it's handled commonly here. GL

No problem at all. If you look in the upper right hand area of this page you'll see a search button in the text box off to the left all I did was type in "Wheezing" and came up with hundreds of posts here with the word wheezing in them. I just picked one off the 1st page with a good amount of replies in it. You might peruse those yourself as there's a wealth of info here. Good luck

I did, and again thank you!! My boy is now isolated inside and am going to the feed store first thing in the morning to get meds!!! He sounds so bad, poor thing!! I put some water and some feed mixed with yogurt in with him. He is sooooo not liking being alone. He WILL get better!!!
