When am I going to learn, shipped eggs for me is a no no

let me know what it says when it gets there on that day? for us it says delivery failure at 5AM but yet it gets here.

inuyashalover21 - It will say arrived and the date/time at the PO. I have never seen one with a delivery failure, maybe this is unique to your PO?

I tried to get them to fix it. They say its a bug in there system (great right?) next time I order something with tracking i will paste what it says.

i dont know what i can do for them to get something right

cg, sorry to hear about your problems with the PO and receiving shipped eggs. Unfortunately, you are right- if the people at your PO are just slackers that don't care, there is not much anyone can do about it.

I'm an eBay seller, and I am fortunate that my hometown PO is efficient, because if they weren't my life would be a living hell.

I would suggest getting your eggs mailed to friends or relatives in a neighboring town that hopefully have a better PO than you do.

If it makes you feel better, I had some seb. goose eggs shipped Tuesday. They should have shown up Thursday, didn't come until Saturday!

I don't have anything time sensative shipped to our rural post office. I work in the city nearby. Near my office there is a small postal substation. I walk there during lunch occasionally to buy stamps and ship packages. The lady there is nice and always chit chats with me. I started having fragile and time sensitive stuff sent there. It is addressed to me C/O her. She has taken very good care of egg shipments for me and called me right away. I guess I'm lucky. My home mail delivery, now that's another story. I get my neighbors' mail quite frequently and they get mine.
