When and what to give chicks for treats?

My chicks are 5.5 weeks old and so far have only had starter / grower crumbles. Can I start giving them treats? I bought mealworms that I have been grinding up for our ducks - would that be ok? I also have dried crickets, cracked corn, black oil sunflower seeds. When can they eat those? And when do they start getting chicken scratch?

they can start eating those treats. I feed my chicks scratch as early as 3 weeks.

They should have access to grit if you feed them treats. They will pick up grit if they are free ranging.
All of those treats sound fine.
I have given my chicks a bit of Greek yogurt and they LOVE it. Weren't sure about the texture at first....but after they got over that, there was no stopping them.
It's so much fun seeing the enjoyment they get out of different food.
