They are only 6 days old, but wondering when I will be able to tell if they're pullets or cockrells? They are barnyard mixes.

I sure can and definently will. My guess is that in the 2nd pic the one poking his head out the most is a roo and the rest pullets

they look like mine. There a mix also I found the black beak ones are males. As for the half and half it's a toss up unless you sexed then 1 day old. Sorry hope there all pullets but just a heads up. Mine are Rooster barred rock, I have R I R, araconda, barred rock and buff orphington hens

My black chicks are standard leghorn bantam mexi game cock mixes. The Bantams are Mexi game cock and bantam jap mixes. They've got a lot else in them too.

Yes, after about 6 weeks it is very obvious. I just figured out both my BCM's are MALE!!!! UGH! AND one of my wellsummer pullets crowed! I seem to have an ever growing roo issue and I am going to have to learn how to dispatch them fast! My oldest Roo is destined for the pot! He is awful and I am sick of MEAN roos....I might keep these around and see if they are nice.
