When broodiness goes too far

I have two broody bantams right now. A Light Sussex and a little black Transylvanian Naked Neck. They've been brooding together in the nest box.

I shut off the nest box to break them.

Then find them sitting on the roost with one broody brooding the other!

Like, when those hormones are strong they will treat anything like a baby, even a fellow hen 😂

She doesn't seem to mind being 'taken under her sister's wing'!

Look at those faces saying 'I dare you to separate us'!
