When can greens be introduced to chicks?

Thank you all for the advice! That was the encouragement we needed, so kids have already started the handfuls of grass...which proved to be quite entertaining. The chicks attacked it, and started munching (pecking) at it right away. There was some clover included which set off the competition to see who could find it, grab it and go running around the brooder with everyone else chasing after trying to get a peck of it. If this rain up here ever stops, and the sun comes out...hopefully this weekend we can start to give them some outside time if it's warm enough. And you're right...the faster they are growing, the faster their brooder becomes a mess. oy.
