We have 1 coop/run that houses our two 14 months old hens ... we have a 2nd coop/with a small run that is temporarily housing our new 11 week old & 13 week old chicks (just 2 chicks ... 1 is 11 weeks old & 1 is 13 weeks old) ... the new chicks have been in the coop since April 19th & all 4 chickens have been able to see each other as the 2 runs meet but has chicken wire keeping them separated physically ... my question is when can/should I add the new chickens to the coop/run with the 14 months old chickens? I know there will be some pecking order issues taking place ... I was hoping to add the older chickens to the newer coop (where the 11 week & 13 week chicks are) as that coop is bigger ... hope this all makes sense ... any/all help is appreciated ... I just don't want anything drastic to happen to the new (younger) chicks
