We just adopted 4 adult hens who were laying consistently at their previous home. Though they've adjusted really well, I expected a week or so to pass without eggs due to the stress of moving, etc. Its also moving into winter, temperature has dropped pretty dramatically in the past few days. What is a reasonable amount of time to expect to see some eggs given the circumstances? Thanks in advance for any input!

What breed(s) are they and how old are they? I know you said "adult" hens, but that can include a fairly wide range of ages and that plays into production expectations.

There are 2 Buff Opringtons and 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes, they are 2.5 years old.
