When can I expect to tell the boys from the girls?

I'm getting some day-old baby chicks this week... 3 female, 1 male Australorps; 3 female, 1 male brown Leghorns, and four straight-run gold Phoenix.

I'm looking forward to watching them grow and seeing the males develop differently. When do you think I should expect to see those differences?

General rule of them is one month. Though it's sooner/later with different breeds. I'd think you could tell pretty early on with the Phoenix.

Yeah, at about 3 to 4 weeks, you can start distinguishing the roos by them having larger, redder, combs..... However, you can't tell for sure this way, the best bet is to let them either crow, or lay eggs

Hmm.... I dont really know, Im pretty new to this

I have a Silver Pheonix and she is THE BEST chicken (In my opinion)
