i've heard many opinions on this topic and i did my research, but i want to ask again. When can i let my 2 weeks old duckling swim? He will stay IN the room with the heat turned on and the water will be warm. Not too hot, not too cold. I was thinking of letting him swim for about 10/15/20 minutes ánd then help him to dry off. Is this all i need to do? Thanks in advance!

That would be fine, just watch for signs of hypothermia, and make sure to watch the duckling the entire so she doesn't drown.

I tried putting him into a bowl of water(it wasn't really deep, enough for him to stay on his feet), but he didn't do anything. He just stayed in the water. He didn't swim, he didn't do anything like that. he keps looking around and scratching his face with his feet. Maybe it was too much for a first time? I'll try again tomorrow or later today
