When can I put my chicks together?

Their first night together went beautifully.
(is it weird that the brooder is next to my bed so I can check on them easily at night?)

I woke up this morning and once again thought they were all dead. I'll never get used to the way they look when they are sleeping. Poor things had quite a startle when I opened to box and started poking to make sure they were all alive.

One of my RIR birds that is over a week old has taken to two of the bantam babies. It is really sweet - everytime I look in there the two babies are nuzzled under her chin.

I didn't quarantine mine. They were both from the same hatchery. That's not to say that something couldn't happen but I think the chances are slimmer.
I had mine in the basement and could still hear some peeping at night. I can't imagine sleeping through that with them in the bedroom!
