I will have another post under meat chicks, ranting about these guys, but for now am just wondering when I can put these little monsters outside?
They are cornish x rocks, are, I think, about 3 1/2 weeks old with tons of feathers, except for their heads.
Our patio is roofed, has 2 solid sides, 2 screened in. The area I would put them in actually is a weird ell type thing, with 3 solid walls. I would put layers of cardboard down on the floor first to insulate.
It is still chilly here. Temps will be about in the high 50's to low 60's. Tonight we have frost warnings, so I would probably wait until tomorrow anyways.
With a brooder light and high enough walls, would they stay warm enough?
