My sussex and silkies are seven weeks old. Can I start giving them some food scraps and some worms from my worm farm? Are any type of worms ok? We have tiger worms in our farm and I showed the chickens some on a dish and they didn't seem to know what to do with them! I kinda felt sorry for the worms because they were tortured to death while the chickens figured out what to do with them.
I tried them with some parsley from our garden they pecked at it but it was still there later on.
They seem so grown up now and their cheeps are starting to turn into little clucks.....

IMO you can give them anything you want to. If they were raised by their mothers, they would scavenge around and eat all kinds of things.

The Silkie Roo I just had to rehome, loved bananas. I did not give him a lot of them, but if I was eating one I would break off a small piece for him.

I think thy are old enough. My chicks had warm brown rice on their first night cause they looked cold and hungry, to me!
