When can my chicks....

Hi...my guineas and chicks are three months old and are kept in an outside coop. Is it time to let them range free? they are already flying to their roosts and we want them to get out and range free. We will keep them in at night, but daytime they can go out and forage for bugs we think.

I would say they're old enough now. You can start letting them out an hour or so before they usually go to roost just so they get used to being outside and then extend their time.

Chicks should be fine...
.....guineas can be tricky I've heard.
