When can my ducklings take a bath

Hey guys my ducklings just hatched out 2 days ago and I’m eager to give them a bath I’m planning on letting them play in the bathtub every morning while I clean out their brooder.
I just don’t know if I put them in too young if it can hurt them.
Do I need to wait longer than normal because they don’t have as much preen oil?

I let mine swim in warm water when the were a couple weeks old. It was only for 10 minutes or so, but they loved it! I think part of the worry is them getting tired or too cold. I made sure they were completely dry before going back in the brooder, and made sure they had something to rest on if they got tired.

Yes. They can play in shallow water and swim. Just keep it so they can touch the bottom of the tub. Have fun.
