I have two 6 week old Rouen ducks and they are almost fully feathered I would say about 85% feathers. They currently spend all day outside because it stays around 80 degrees right now. At night it gets at its lowest 70 degrees. When can they be outside full time? They have a 6x6 pen. This is one of them as of 2 days ago;

They can be out now! 6 weeks and feathered..and with those temps.. I'd have had them out a week ago. 😄

Do they have a secure night coop? They look ready to head outdoors. Very pretty too !
Yay! Yes it is secure and I will put a brick on the bottom to hold it down even more but it’s hard for us to even lift the thing and it’s screwed into the fence. It has a door and a roof and today we will build them a little box that’s elevated with shavings in case they get cold.

I hate to tell you this but chicken wire is not predator proof. It's just not strong enough.
Can you post some more pictures of the entire set up? Maybe we Can help you with some ideas.

What should I use? We don’t have predators here. It’s basically hawks and opossums

Where are you @wtusa1718. Is the top covered? If you have opossum you probably have raccoons they can reach right into chicken wire grab a duck and try to pull through fencing. Horrible! Hardware cloth is the only way to keep them safe. Is the top covered?

Yes the top is covered. I’ve already spent like $20 on the chicken wire. And I know hardware cloth is expensive
