When can my ducks have full access to their pond?

My ducks currently are swimming right next to me in their 145 gallon pond. They are two and a half weeks old and this is their second ever time swimming in it. They are having the time of their lives! They dive all the way to the bottom, come back up and do it all again. I just love watching them in here, and have observed them climbing in and out of the pond successfully on their own. With this in mind, is it safe to let them swim in the pool unsupervised sometime within the next couple of weeks? I am starting their transition outdoors already because a family member is allergic and I need them out of the garage quick.
Should I give them FULL access to the whole run including this pond? (21x9) Or just the run? I personally feel as if giving them full pond access is unsafe right now since they are still so young and this pond is really quite deep, however in seeing them jump in and out with no troubles i’m wondering if maybe I'm just being overprotective and they can swim whenever they like now.

I went ahead and let them swim on their own after posting this and to went well, I gave them full access and thus far everything has been great.
