When can you tell if a chick will be frizzled?

I have 9 (so far) new chicks we just hatched. I'm hoping they will be frizzled. How soon can you begin to tell and what will it look like? Will the feathers start to look more fluffy and out? Thanks! They're so cute no matter what but I'd love some frizzles!

Yeah... They'll kinda look like they stuck their finger in a light socket. (best way I could describe it

We had a broody silkie hatch out a Frizzle. Not sure if the mom is a silkie or cochin. The dad was a frizzle banty roo. It took about 10 to 12 days before we could see the feathers turning outward. It's almost 4 weeks old now and there is no mistake, it's a frizzle. Now just waiting to find out if it's a roo or pullet. No matter, we will keep it either way. So cute...

This is my frizzle at about 3 days or so Im guessing. I found him so Im not exactly sure of the age but I will say that his little wing feathers curled outward away from him body though it doesnt show well in this picture.

I guess this has already been said...but as soon as they start to get feathering on their wings(a few days to 1 weel old?) you will totally notice that their feathers curl out rather than lay flat. Here's a pic of my frizzle babies from last fall!
