My son broought home 2 young ducks home, I noticed that their wings were clipped. They are growing out nicely, also they are lossing there baby feathers, 2 weeks ago they were yellow now they are becoming white, when will be a good time to let them outside?

If they are just now switching from fuzzy down to feathers growing in their wings have not been clipped. You can only clip wing feathers once fully grown in.

With not lowing where you are and your set up it is hard to give a general answer on when they can go outside.

Allof our ducklings and goslings are outside all day long starting at day 5/6. They are on grass in secure play pens with tops and sides or in raised pens fully enclosed on all sides.

All goslings are put back in our brooder house every night. Ducklings in raised pens are in them 24/7 with food, water and shelter.

We also live in FL and are mid to upper 80's and don't use heat lamps because of our temps.

I usually wait until my ducks a feathered out pretty well. We have a pond I will not let them go to water until I see that they are waterproof. We usually do that with small tubs with water in them for the ducks to play in. I currently have some that are a few weeks old and I let them out during the day as long as I is above 60 and It is sunny, so they can lay in the sun to help them stay warm.
