When did aggression start?

I usually wait until the males start fighting. They will. They are (loveable) idiots. Usually, there are a couple males that are just personality plus, and they are my keepers. (Hopefully, they aren't the ones that turn into murderous jerks.) Also, some of them mature later than others. The jumbo whites are very slow to mature, but they lay for a long time. I had a wonderful male who lived almost 6 years. He didn't mature until almost 12 weeks old. (His name was Dweebie, because he was such an awkward Dweeb. I cried when he died.)

I am really hoping they can hold out on murder... lol... I just love their personalities.. at least until I can see what genders are in my next batch.... I just wouldn’t even be able to decide what ones to get rid of

Yup... it was too much for my little Claire... just at about 6 weeks old... they wouldn’t leave her alone and she would hide most of the day... yea.. that lasted one day and a friend took the 4 boys... everyone is so much happier now... they just chill ... all just hanging out.. no fighting.. no roostering ... they were super sweet boys but man! Glad I moved them out

I figured out that the males will make a lower pitched sound, akin to seagull or other sea bird sounds, when they're pissed off and wanting to fight. I've only had one male go psycho and do that. They'll peck at another bird's head and flail their legs at them.
