When did your pullets start laying in the spring?

My 7 Barred Rocks, hatched 8/15/18, bought as day old chicks from TSC. Started to lay at 20 weeks and all were laying around 23 weeks.
I add light at 5 am year round. Currently sunset is 5:26.
I feed a Non-Medicated Starter-Grower 18% or Flock Raiser/All-Flock crumbles 20%. Whichever is Fresher when I'm at TSC, with Oyster Shells and Poultry Grit each in separate containers.
I add no heat, but do have a heated base for the water.
It's been below 0 Fahrenheit several nights this winter. 20190131_130052.jpg . GC

My double laced barnevelder laid her first egg today! She’d be around 7 months now I think. I have a light that turns on at 6am so I can see them moving around before I leave for work at 7am, it turns off at 8am.

Well, one of my ladies has gone and done it! She’s given me that much anticipated first egg on Tuesday, and then one every day since!

They are cute and small, brown with a purpley tone.
