when did your rhodes island reds start laying

My friend told me they lay at 4 months and i honestly do not think a chicken can lay that early so RIR owners i really need your help, mine r only 2 months now ;-) thanks everyone!

I agree with you - 16 weeks is too early - closer to 20 and probably even longer. Find the RIR thread in the link below and post there - someone will give you the information. Good luck to you!
