When do bantam hamburgs start laying??

Hello! I've raised chickens for years, but just got several bantam golden spangled hamburg girls. I was told that they are about 3 months old. Do they start laying around the same time as chickens?? Thanks for any advice!

A lot of bantams take longer to start laying as they aren't bred for egg production. Most will start between 6-8 months of age.
